We Appreciate Your Generosity!

The pantry is so appreciative this community’s support of the pantry.  Both with donation of food but of financial gift.  This is the 4^th year in arrow that we have spent 75 cents of every dollar donated on food.  We could not do that without the support of this community.  Our building is paid for and we are not faced with a monthly mortgage payment.  The other 25 cents of every dollar is for operations of the building, a small payroll and supplies.  We are fortunate to have the support of many people in the construction trade.  Many of the tasks at the panty are done on a volunteer basis.

This past year we had great support for our Holiday Dinner Box program.  Over 350 families received a box with all the “fixings” for a Thanksgiving dinner to serve 6 people.

With positive cash flow at the end of the year, we placed some our excess cash in the saving account and some was used to increase our food budget for 2013.   The Board of Directors is aware of the many financial factors that could impact the price of food in the coming months.
